Description:
Once a good girl goes bad.

When mild-mannered Casey Schwartz wakes up in jail with no memory of how she got there she realizes two things: something weird is going on and orange is definitely not her color. After her sister bails her out, Casey has more to deal with than a foggy memory—like abrupt mood swings and fireballs shooting from her fingertips. But things really go south when a vampire shows up on her doorstep...

She’s impossible to resist.

Clayton Gunnersson is seriously hot. And seriously taken—by a demon. In a ritual gone wrong, Clayton tried to free himself from his unwanted bond, but spilled some demonic blood on Casey. So now, Clayton’s spurned mate is inside of Casey—and she’s not happy about it. Neither is Casey, who can’t escape this bizarre love triangle. It’s hard enough being possessed by a demon. Falling for that demon’s boyfriend could get Casey killed—from the inside out…

About the Author:

Dakota Cassidy lives for a good laugh in life and in her writing. In fact, she almost loves a good giggle as much as she loves hair products and that’s saying something.

Her goals in life are simple, (like really simple): banish the color yellow forever, create world peace via hot rollers and Aqua Net; and finally, nab every tiara in the land by competing in the Miss USA, Miss Universe, and Miss World pageants, then sweeping them in a stunning trifecta of much duct tape and Vaseline usage, all in just under one week. Oh, and write really fun books!

She loves people, loves to chat and would love it if you'd come say hello to her on the Yahoo! group she shares with two other terrific authors at—The Truth About Big Hair, Books and Babes. Join Dakota and friends in the chaos and send an email to TTABBB-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or visit her website.

Dakota lives in Texas with her two sons, her mother, more cats and dogs than the local animal shelter and has a boyfriend who puts the heroes in her books to shame. You can contact her at Dakota@dakotacassidy.com. She'd love to hear from you!

Recommended Weekend Read: Dakota Cassidy's Accidental Series.

THE ACCIDENTAL WEREWOLF - BOOK 1
ISBN: 978-0425219300
When Marty Andrews gets bitten by a mangy mutt while walking her teacup poodle, her blond hair darkens, the hair on her legs starts growing at an alarming rate, and her mood swings put her dream job as a sales rep for Bobbie- Sue Cosmetics in serious jeopardy.

Then a drool-worthy man shows up at her door claiming that he accidentally bit Marty. And since he's a werewolf, she is now, too. Thinking Keegan Flaherty is clearly insane, Marty refuses to believe a word until a kidnapping makes her realize there's more at stake than just her highlights. And she must put her out-of-control life in the hands of the man who makes her blood run wild in more ways than one...

ACCIDENTALLY DEAD - BOOK 2
ISBN: 978-0425221594
A vampire puts the bite on a dental assistant.
It’s a lousy first day on the job for Nina Blackman when a patient, loopy from the anesthesia, bites her. At least he was cute. But for real drama she can’t beat the next evening. Nina wakes up with a set of razor-sharp fangs, bionic vision, supersonic hearing, and a taste for blood. But there’s a good explanation: It’s her patient, Long Island vampire Greg Statleon. Actually they’re perfect for each other—if Nina’s willing to commit to one man for eternity.

THE ACCIDENTAL HUMAN - BOOK 3
ISBN: 978-0425225950
Immortality bites.
Wanda Schwartz is raking in the dough selling Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics—and she’s a pro at recruiting new saleswomen. So, she’s shocked when a man comes to one of her in-home parties—a very hot man. Heath Jefferson is sure to put some extra spin into a lot of women’s color wheels.
When Wanda is diagnosed with a terminal illness, it doesn’t have to be a death sentence. With a werewolf and a vampire for best friends, she has options that most ordinary people wouldn’t. As Wanda ponders what to do about her mortality, Heath reveals he has secrets, and one of them is that his former bloodlust has turned into an old-fashioned lust—for Wanda. And he’s already given up too much to lose the love of his lifetimes.

Romance Book Reivew: Catnipped

Author: Dakota Cassidy
ISBN: 978-1-59596-861-6
Genre: Paranormal/Shapeshifter

YYYYY

Description:
Charlie Ledbetter has a big problem. She doesn't like cats. In fact, she's allergic to them. And now she is one. . . sort of.
Caught in the middle of a vicious argument between two men at the pet store where she shops for her dog Pinky, Charlie doesn't just end up nipped in the fight when it's over -- she ends up having a horrible allergic reaction and much sneezing, wheezing and gulping Benadryl like it's tequila ensues.
But that's not even the half of it.
When one of the two men involved in the scuffle, Quinn Piljor, comes to apologize for his part in the scuffle, he brings his brother Luke with him. Tall, blond, sexy, off the chain hot Luke. A man Charlie's immediately attracted to. The brothers explain her little allergy problem can be solved with a ritual that takes place upon the full moon -- a sex ritual.
Crazy that, huh?
Charlie finds out what the Piljor brothers say really is true. In order to stop her violent allergic reaction to her new body's chemistry, her only shot involves having sex with Quinn.
But what does a girl do when the man she really wants to be with isn't the man she has to be with? Charlie Ledbetter has a big problem. She doesn't like cats. In fact, she's allergic to them. And now she is one. . . sort of.

About the author from the back of her book:
Dakota Cassidy found writing quite by accident and it's "been madness ever since." Who knew writing the grocery list would turn into this? Dakota loves anything funny and nothing pleases her more than to hear she's made someone laugh. She loves to write in many genres with a contemporary flair. Dakota lives with her two handsome sons, a dog and a cat. (None of them shape shift -- that we know of.)

My View:
Charlie is out shopping for her beloved dog when she gets in the middle of a scuffle between two men in the pet food store. Unknown to her, one of the men is a shapeshifting tiger. When he accidentally bites her, she starts showing signs of turning into a shapeshifting tiger herself. That might not be so bad if she wasn't deathly allergic to cats and her dog wasn't so afraid he wouldn't come out from under the bed.

So here she is with a problem and her new shapeshifting friends tell her there is one way to change that, but she has to have sex with the one who bit her. The only problem is she isn't the least bit attracted to him, but his brother. Just what is a girl to do, when the Benadryl isn't working? Her new friends have just the answer.

I've always loved Dakota Cassidy's style. She has a great whit and playful way with words. "Catnipped" is just one more fine example.
