In the final Elemental Magic book the story finally tells of the connection between Devin and Arianna, the witch that is locked in the circle.  In order to be free from the circle the curse tells her that love will set her free. Neither Arianna or Devin will accept anything less.

Both Arianna and Devin are stubborn and for the last thousand years have been walking in circles around each other.

The story brings readers several years later from the last when Devin has finally finished building his castle in Scotland, he goes back to find that his cousin's daughter is hight with fever and he can't help her, but he knows who can.

When Devin goes to Arianna for help she can't refuse, not just because she will be freed from the circle but for so much more.

This was a nice ending to the series. The love story is solid and the final crisis is actually one of the most interesting in the series. While this series has come to a close the author keeps the door open for more to come with the children of those featured in the Elemental Magic series.

Description:
Ultimate power, or endless love?

Born the son of a Scottish laird a thousand years ago, but now trapped by his cousin's spell, Devin McLoch has seen countless battles and death. The erstwhile thief has turned away from darker pursuits to lead a life of peace, protecting those he loves and considers part of his clan. However, there is one woman he can never forget, who must be given a chance to change, to accept her heart and his.

Arianne Farrell is just as dangerous and intoxicating as her power. Imprisoned in an ancient stone dance more than a thousand years ago, her only chance at freedom from the spell is through love--a love she denied. When Devin asks for her aid to save another from imminent death, she realizes there is more at stake than just her freedom or her heart.

WARNING: Two stubborn sexy wizards using magic with no bounds, scorching love scenes, and happy ever after. Ever play with fire?

This is a good but complicated series that needs to be read in order.

Pub owner, Rhia has been in love with her best friend Skye for years, but has never let him see her feelings for him. Under the stress of her father's illness and soon death, Rhia can't keep her emotions kept to herself and accidentally lets Skye see how she feels.

Skye is an empath that can't believe he never realized how his best friend Rhia felt about him. He loves her and knows that he wants to spend his life with her, but needs to convince her that she needs him.

In the secondary story, if Skye and Rhia can find their love it will release Daemon and his love Brea from their magical prison.

While some may find the Elemental Magic series a little hard to follow as the author slips from the present to the past, Sea's Sorceress is well written and an interesting short storyline.

In the third Elemental Magic series book, Brynna Curry tells the story Ryan and Kate. Thirteen years ago Ryan and Kate were in love and but lies and misunderstandings kept the two apart. When Ryan moves back home to Ireland he see Kate and realizes not all he thought happened in the past really happened. Now he intends to do anything to get back into Kate's life.

For those who are already reading this series, you are familiar with the story line and already know that the story splits off from points of view from different characters in the story. It also splits off into another world with where there are scenes involving demons and goddesses. I really wish this story were longer and gone into more detail about some of the characters, rather than just reminding what happened in previous stories. If you are just picking up this book, read the previous two so as to keep all the characters in order and the secondary story line going on in the series.

Description:
Ryan and Kate must reunite to break the second of a three- part thousand-year-old spell.

Kate O'Connell grew up loved by the Corrigan family, all the while suffering from the inescapable reality of her own alcoholic father. At a young age she gave her heart and innocence to Ryan Corrigan. For once happiness seemed within her reach, until in one horror-filled night, the monster she called 'Daddy' changed everything.

Too many misunderstandings forced Kate and Ryan apart, but now Kate's come home to open her clinic and raise her daughter, Allaina, closer to his family. Will she be able to open Ryan's heart to his magic?

Ryan is glad to be back on Irish soil, but the reason he left still haunts him. As he tries to build a new life and redeem his past, can he forgive Kate and reclaim his healing gift in time to save his sister and her twins?

The night before Lea's FBI agent sister dies she leaves the schoolteacher an ugly little statue and tells her to hold on to it until she can come back for it. Unfortunately Lea's sister never makes it back and now Lea is running for her life to keep what her sister died protecting safe.

Gabe was once Lea's sister' partner and the man she was in love with. When Lea shows up at his hideaway cabin he almost thinks that her sister has come back from the grave. On the run from bad guys Gabe and Lea realize they have a connection that few find, but will they get a chance to be together or will the killers succeed in killing them both...

To Take Up The Sword is a quick action backed novella with two strong characters running from explosions and dodging bullets. The villain is one sinister dude who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Brynna Curry packs a lot into one short novel. It would be interesting to see what she can do if she went all out with a more room to write.

Description:
Missing diamonds and a killer on the loose…will a schoolteacher and FBI agent escape with their lives and hearts intact?

After the acquittal of Gueraldi's right hand and favored killer for hire, Ashton Smythe, Special Agent Gabriel Spiller takes time away from his work with the FBI. Having failed in his mission to avenge his lost would be lover, Serena Roarke, Gabe returns to Alabama in search of the missing diamonds needed to reopen the investigation and to lay low from the death threats he's received since Smythe went free.

Almost two years after her sister's death, Leannan O'Neal feels the loss of Serena more now than ever. A secret meeting between them before she died left Lea with an ugly figurine and nothing but questions. Hang-up calls at work and a trashed house reminds her of the card Serena gave her. "If you find yourself in trouble, go to him and only him" were the last words her sister spoke to her.

With Smthye out for revenge and hot on her heels, Lea goes on the run in search of Serena's 'Angel', but how long can Gabe keep her alive, and is the cost worth more than her life?
