In the third in this series set in California/Nevada's Lake Tahoe-Reno area Martha O'Sullivan finishes up her series with the story of Paul and Moira. Paul is the ex-fiance of Lindsey from the first book and Moira is one of Lindsey's best friends.

When Lindsey was coming to terms with the fact that she was still in love with Brian, her first love, she realized that Moira was in love with Paul.

Since Lindsey's wedding Paul and Moira continued to see each other but nothing serious until Paul realizes that waiting might just cost him the woman he loves, but can he get over the fact that his last love left him for another man. Moira has a few insecurities of her own. Are the odds against this couple who have waiting so long to get together.

Of the three books in the series, this isn't my favorite because it's too common a theme, otherwise the book is worth reading for it well developed characters and the fact that it end the tree stories and adheres to them.

On her way to the wedding of her college roommate and a business meeting in San Francisco, Delaney meets the captain of the plane, Mike, she's on from Chicago. The handsome pilot helps her off the plane with her luggage and that is the end of that, or so Delaney thinks, until she meets him again at her friend's wedding. 

Mike takes one look at the pretty passenger in first class and falls instantly in lust. The woman is beautiful and he has every intention of seeing her again. He just didn't expect it to be in Lake Tahoe the next night at his best friend's wedding. Spending the week with Delaney he fall instantly in love. Delaney has been hurt before, being left at the alter will do that to a woman. Now Mike has to convince her that they should have a life together even though they live 2,000 miles away. 

There is just one little snag though, someone in Delaney's past is watching and he might just have something else planned for the lovers before they can have their happily ever after. 

This book is much better than the first in the series. I liked both Delaney and Mike, even though I felt she could have been a little stronger. While the storyline is great and I like the two characters, the ending of the book gets a little muddled so I feel obligated to know off a point for that. Still I feel this series has merit and can't wait to read the next in the series.

Lindsay and Brian were once a happy couple, but Brian wanted things to stay them same with them just a couple, no real formal commitment like marriage and children. As an only child Lindsay had dreamed of a big family one day. With Brian's been there, done that attitude, Lindsay decides it is time to move on.

It is 16 months later and Lindsay's life has gone through some changes. Her grandmother has died and there is a new man in her life. He isn't Brian, but he's a good man and he wants the same things in life she does, but when Brian walks back into her life, can she leave everything behind and go back to the way it was.

Brian loved Lindsay, but he didn't realize what he had until she was gone. Now that he's seen her again he wants that back. Can he convince her before she marries someone else?

I don't want to give away the plot of the story, but while I liked the idea of the story and the writing, I do have one pet pieve when it comes to romance stories and a line I hate when it is crossed, and the author crossed it in this book. I know it sounds vague, but you'll just have to read the book and find out for yourself. Not everyone is bothered when the storyline turns in that direction. The rest of the series looks good, so don't miss out on my lackluster review.

Caution! Makeup/reunion sex is white hot, especially when both parties have been celibate for a year!
