Devil Black comes and pulls her out, but with his reputation he might be there to kill her himself. To top that off, she can't stop the attractions she has to him.
Devil has to get Katie out of the line of fire and then far away from him because he can't have the distraction of this one wolf breed. When he realizes that this isn't any ordinary attraction and she feels it too, there is nothing more to do but dive in.
The story opens the do to some new questions and added to the series.

These novellas are all teasers to the actual series they belong in and as such the reader shouldn't expect too many resolutions but are encouraged to check out the full novels by each individual authors. I know that if I hadn't read all of the Lora Leigh Breed series books I would be completely lost after reading The Devils Due. Enjoy these novellas for what they a quick read to get the reader interested in checking out something new by each author.
