Rae's twin Rubi hasn't forgiven her for the fact that the accident that took Rae's leg took the lives of their parents. They had to spend the rest of their childhood in an orphenage. While Rae grew up to be a sweet person who is happy to let life happen and be happy that she is alive, Rubi wants more and more and what she wants is a piece of the D'Alessandro fortune.

She might have been able to achieve her goal, if only Yvan didn't find out that Rubi was also having an affair with his father. When he first confronts Rubi she blames her twin sister, but when Yvan finds out that her sister is an angle, compared to Rubi's evil he turns the tables on Rubi and marries Rae instead.

For Yvan Rae may just turn out to be the angel that Yvan needs to turn his life around. Ruby on the other hand can't stand that her sister is getting the life Rubi thought she deserved and will stop at nothing to get.

This is an suspense packed novel packed into 88 pages. While that alone would be enough for the story, I wish that the characters would be a little more developed and a better love story was able to develop between Rae and Yvan. But if your looking for a good quick read, it is worth the purchase price.

Description:
Loving you, lusting for her.

Yvan D'Alessandro likes his women the same way he likes his business—exclusive and under his control. Unfortunately for him, he finds out that the woman he's been sleeping with is having an affair with another man on the side. Furious, Yvan plans to exact a special kind of revenge on his cheating lover.

All he needs is the help of her sister, Rae Santos…

Sick and tired of having her life stolen from her by her vindictive twin sister, Rae accepts the proposition her sister's new flame, sexy businessman Yvan D'Alessandro, offers. Unfortunately for her, it's not long until she finds out that she may have bitten off more than she can chew.

With the help of the District Attorney's office she is going to hide out in Montana, but before she can be delivered to Andrew's Montana Ranch, her escort is killed. By chance she runs into Andrew, who mistakes her his lost love. Not sure what to do, she is advised to keep her cover until the police can find the person who has been stalking her and killing those around her.

In the meantime the two begin to fall in love, although Andrew will be in for a big surprise when he realizes that Roxxy isn't Layla and she's been lying to him all along.

This story starts off very strange the lead paragraph leads everyone thinking that Layla has finally come back to Andrew, a bold move on the writers part for those hopeless romantics who read The Owner of His Heart. As with the rest of this 50 Loving States series, there is more to the story and the reader can't help but plow through the pages to get to the end and figure out what is going on.

Description:
Introducing the fourth smoking hot interracial romance in the 50 Loving States series, and the follow-up to the Amazon Bestseller, THE OWNER OF HIS HEART!

After Layla Matthews chooses his identical twin brother over him, Andrew Sinclair moves to Montana, vowing to forget about the ex-girlfriend that got away. But when she shows up in Montana, sassier and sexier than he remembered, and seeking refuge on his guest ranch, he doesn’t know how long he’ll be able to keep that vow … or resist setting her Montana nights on fire.

The only thing is, this Layla Matthews isn’t quite what or who she seems. The craziest 50 Loving States entry yet, this book features two outrageously handsome twin brothers, a mystery that will keep you guessing, and an extremely hot case of mistaken identity.

When Macy finds herself away from home and in trouble, her father has sought out an old friend to help her. Jerrod is a lawyer in Portland. Recently divorced he finds himself immediately attracted to the young woman, but is determined to do his best to get her out of trouble he knows she's innocent of and stay away from her.

But soon he realizes that his attraction to Macy is mutal and then two of them together is something that he can't keep himself away from.

Macy's Awakening offers a fairly decent romance story wrapped around a series of erotic romance scenes. Although the potential is there for a lot of conflict within the story the novella doesn't really give the chance to take the story out of the bedroom. Not bad for a quick weekend read.

Description:

Can Macy and Jerrod overcome the differences in their age and race to find lasting love?

On Macy Wilson’s first grown-up adventure to the big city, she inadvertently ends up in jail. Her father hires an old college friend, defense attorney Jerrod Preston, to get Macy out of trouble. Jerrod is more than willing to help out his buddy by representing the gorgeous young black woman, but finds he must first battle his intense attraction to her, especially when the judge puts Macy under his protective custody.

Still an innocent at the age of nineteen, Macy ignores the differences in their age and race and sees the opportunity to learn all about sex from the handsome older man. On her second night in his home, a naked midnight rendezvous at the hot tub proves too powerful for either to resist, and Macy is awakened to pleasure like nothing she could have imagined.

But the morning brings feelings of remorse on both their parts. Macy knows her father wouldn’t approve, and Jerrod is convinced Macy should be with someone closer to her own age. They settle into an uneasy platonic relationship, both secretly longing for the love that now seems just beyond their grasp.

Then an unforeseen circumstance raises the stakes, and Macy must make the toughest decision of her life. When she lays claim to the man she can’t forget, will Jerrod send her away, or dare to open his heart to love once more?

Not everyone is as happy with Ezekiel's choice as he is, especially after his best friend Daniel announces that he intends to share Ezekiel's chosen. Now Ezekiel and Daniel not have to convince Yvonne, but also her family and an obsessed lawman who believes Yvonne belongs to him.

Love the title of this book. The story is very erotic with lots of three way scenes. While Yvonne takes a walk through the woods to grandma's house, this isn't the childhood fantasy you remember.

Description:
Good girl, bad boys. Going off-path was never this much fun.

Yvonne Rousel is having trouble keeping up a brave face. Ezekiel Crawford and Daniel Hunter are her best friends—and she’s about to lose one of them to another woman.

Thanks to a pact between the human residents of Monroeville and the local werewolf pack—brides for protection—Ezekiel has won the right to choose a mate. Yvonne’s doing her best to be happy for him, but fear persists that his marriage could signal the beginning of the end of their charmed friendship. Because once Ezekiel’s preoccupied with his new bride, how long will it be before Daniel, too, drifts away?

Ezekiel and Daniel have no intention of letting their happy threesome come to an unhappy end. Their plan is a little unconventional, a tad kinky, and destined to be a whole lot of fun. Now all they have to do is convince their good-girl girlfriend to take a walk on the big, bad side. And stay one step ahead of a jealous lawman…

Warning: It’s not your grandmother’s fairytale…unless she likes big bad wolves, hot three ways and double penetration.

She’s known to many book clubs and readers as the Mistress of Taboo. Writing about untraditional, steamy interracial romance in the South, Latrivia Nelson has developed a niche of global readers that has exceeded her wildest dreams.

Now she’s exploring a new unconventional storyline between a Russian organized crime boss and a black virgin orphan in her latest book Dmitry’s Closet. The combination promises to be electric, capturing the essence of modern‐day international mafia figures and the passion of ageless romance in a pageturning
hit.

“I’m always interested in exploring dynamics of relationships that are often looked over. When I watched David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises, I fell in love with the good versus bad affair in the story line. So, I decided after taking few organized crime classes to write a book that delved into the intimacy of loving someone who is considered perpetually bad,” said Nelson.

To date, Nelson has written the largest modern interracial romance novel in her genre with 616
pages for romance lovers. Ivy’s Twisted Vine (2008) debuted in 2008 as her first published work and highlighted a triangle lover affair between a young black college queen, an aspiring black politician and an Italian SWAT police officer.

Dmitry’s Closet is Nelson’s second novel and is scaled down in size as a 360‐page work of fiction. Based in Memphis, Tennessee and Moscow, Russia, the book follows the unexpected romance between two people thrown away by society who find each other through mutual need. However, besides obvious romance, there is a great deal of action and suspense. So far, in various formats, the book has been on one of Amazon’s multicultural bestsellers lists for 4 weeks in a row.

About the author:
Latrivia S. Nelson is an urban fiction and interracial romance author. Her first novel, Ivy’s Twisted Vine (2008), is the largest interracial novel in its genre. Dmitry’s Closet is her first urban fiction/interracial romance novel. Currently, Nelson is working on her next book and pursing her Ph.D. in criminal justice. She lives in the suburbs of Memphis with her husband (Adam) and two children (Tierra & Jordan).
