Quick read that begins a four book paranormal series. The first book is a good introduction into the series where you meet several of the continuing characters. Tucker is a very likable hero who is just working to do the right thing for everyone. Gabi is stubborn and set to help where ever she can, sometimes without thinking through the consequences. 

Well written series. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series. This first book is free on Amazon.

Good story, but the book does have several type-os that might in the way for some readers.

I'm a big fan of Celia Kyle. She has a fantastic ability to make you laugh out loud while you're reading. Many of her stories are quick reads. "Wolf's Mate" is a little different from her previous books. This one is a little more serious in nature and a little longer than some of her others. 

In Wolf's Mate the two lead characters are a little more complicated. The hero, Declan, knows that he isn't a good person and can't possibly be good enough for innocent Abby. 

Abby witnessed her parents being killed by a group that kills shifters when she was a child. When she grew up she decides to live a quiet life as an accountant. Two couldn't be more different. 

I also think she spent a little more time world building on her subject, which leaves the reader a chance to get into the characters and the story behind the characters relationship.

This is a continual series, although you could stop with just this one story, but you'll be looking forward to reading more in the end.

This is the 31st book in the Breed series. For the past several books the Breed series have been concentrating on saving Jonas Wyatt’s baby daughter from the serum that the evil Boardmore gave her. During the series we learn of three young breeds that escape from the labs and are hidden away by the community of Window Rock. 

Judd is a young breed who we learn helps the two young girls escape from the labs they were in. Jonas is anxious to get his hands on the three breeds as is the dreaded Council. And let us not forget the very disturbing Gideon. Gideon has been teaching for the three you breeds for years (or so we think).

Now that we’re read the stories of Honor and Fawn, the two girls everyone has been searching for, as well as found out that Gideon isn’t as crazy as we once thought, it is time to meet Judd. Judd, like the two girls has been hiding in plane sight and his mate has always been close too.

Cullen Maverick is a recessed Bengal breed. As the commander of the Navajo Covert Law Enforcement Agency, many believed he was human, but once Gideon’s identity was revealed so was Judd’s and Cullen came out as the breed he is.

When Cullen first moved to Window Rock he fell in love with a human and married her. Cullen’s wife soon died of cancer, but everyone always assumed that he was heartbroken after losing his mate. Everyone including his wife’s cousin Chelsea Martinez. 

All these years Chelsea has lived knowing that she would never have the man she loved. Cullen had met his mate and he would never be hers, but she could have the career she has always wanted. Unfortunately Cullen was blocking that dream, so it was time for Chelsea to leave. 

It isn’t until Chelsea walks out on him, the Cullen finally realizes he’s waited too long to claim Chelsea and if he doesn’t act quick he could lose her for good. But not everyone wants Chelsea and Cullen to get together. Someone would rather see the two suffer, and Cullen needs to find out who to save Chelsea’s life. 

I love this series and watching Cullen and Chelsea fall in love through all the action and mating heat is well worth this read. However, I was a little distracted through the book by the inconsistency in the story and previous other stories. I even went back to reread previous books because parts of this story really bothered me. If you can get past that this is really a good book, with a surprise ending leaving us ready to check out the next story, which I hoping will be Cassie Sinclair’s story.

Solid story that can be read alone or with other parts of the series, especially A Silver Wolf Christmas (Silver Town Wolf Book 5). I like the ghost story and the briefly added comic relief with the sister’s cousins, who have their own ghost hunting television show.

Celia Kyle takes a different track with The Werewolf Tycoon's Baby. In previous books by this author you see a lot of sass and circumstance, but in this book we see a more serious side. On a holiday vacation, full human Lissa meets a Greek tycoon and falls madly in love, she gives the man her virginity and oops, of course get pregnant. Learning their is a master plan in action to steal her baby from her and dispose of her, Lissa runs from the man she comes to find out is a werewolf. The start of the books finds Lissa caught by the werewolf tycoon, Galen, and dragged back to Greece. 

Galen, of course, has no idea why she ran, but Lissa doesn't realize this. While I like this book it runs pretty much like one would predict. I was hoping for some turns and twists. However, I did like the writing and hope that Celia will consider using this more serious approach in future books. This book is definitely worth a read.

As a member of Prior quintet, Brukr is charged with protecting the women working to ensure that all human woman learn about the cure for Pol Mutation. One female in particular has been causing Brukr a lot of frustration. Hannah is a little too independent for Brukr’s taste, but Brukr takes his position seriously. 

Brukr has always been attracted to Hannah, but since he has not felt the “knowing” with Hannah how can she be his mate? He keeps his distance waiting to see if fate has gifted him her mate after she accepts the cure.

But Hannah has her secrets. She hasn’t told the Preor exactly who she is and has not intention of getting the cure. When her past catches up with her, will Brukr be able to keep her safe or will he lose her to another.

Taking place in an alternate earth where aliens have taken a place in the world to help the humans who have destroyed the planet, these weredragons are on a journey to find their fated mates. When they finally find their mates there is much to learn between the two male and female in every relationship. Often communication between the two the hardest obstacle to face. 

Hannah and Brukr are both running for their wounded pasts trying to make their way in the world. Both independent and wanting the best for each other. I liked both characters and those in the quintet that make up the background story. 

The ship’s computer, and the hacker “Liquid Knot”, are being further developed in this story, I suspect that there will be more about the hacker in a future story. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store in future books.
