When Gwen receives a late night email she rushes to her friend's aide, but too late. Her friend, Evelyn is dead and Gwen enlists the her help of her best friend, Abby's finace's company for help. Evelyn's death isn't an ordinary mystery and Gwen isn't looking for a normal private investigator.

Enter Judson Coopersmith, a man that Gwen had met a month before. Sparks flew when the two met, but as soon as Judson realized that Gwen was a psychic dream counselor his immediately put the breaks on their relationship going an further. The minute he sees her again, he knows he can't let her go this time.

While the two investigate Evelyn's death they realize that there are many suspects and not all is as it seems. At the same time Judson must figure out what his nightmares mean and he just might have to go to Gwen for help after all.

I liked this book, but it seemed to go on a little long and the connections were not easily made when one of the stories was solved. Otherwise I think the female lead was a great character and the sexy hero seemed as just slightly less alpha as the authors usual male leads.

I keep wondering if there is going to be a third book or more in the Dark Legacy series. It seems that the Coopersmith's still have more stories to tell.

A suspicious death. A ghost in a mirror. The new Dark Legacy novel from the New York Times bestselling author known for crafting stories of burning passion and chilling suspense…

The death of her friend and mentor, Evelyn Ballinger, brings psychic counselor Gwen Frazier back to the small town of Wilby, Oregon, and brings back memories she would rather forget. Two years ago, a killer stalked the members of one of Ballinger’s research studies—including Gwen, who survived while two others didn’t. Now, she’s sure that Ballinger’s death is related.

Sent by a friend to help Gwen, psychic investigator Judson Coppersmith arrives in Wilby barely in control of his own talent and his own life, and haunted by urgent dreams. His attraction to Gwen is primal, but there are secrets he must keep to protect himself from surrendering to her completely, even as their investigation draws them into dreamscapes, into decades of deception and into the paranormal fires of a desire too strong to resist…

After being kidnapped and used as a ginny pig for a new experimental drug, Sedona Snow, long-time descendent of Arizona Snow from back on Earth, escapes and is ready to make her new life on Rainshadow with her dust bunny Lyle.

It has been a strange couple of months for Sedona with a lot of new people taking an interest with her. First those that kidnapped her, her ex-MC husband, her estranged family and even the new guild boss on Rainshadow Cyrus Jones.

Cyrus Jones knows exactly who Sedona is and what she has been through for the past few months. He knows she's not PSI-burned and he couldn't be happier, because Cyrus has his own issues with people calling him "Dead Zone Jones". Sedona may just be the woman he's been looking for, for a long time.

This is the third installment to the Rainshadow series and those who read this book might want to check out the previous three, as characters and the concerns of the underworld on the island all play together. This was a well written installment in the series, however the book doesn't take us anywhere new and exciting in the series. There was however a bit of mystery going in with her exactly the bad guy is, but I pretty much figured it out well before the person the presented.

The world of Harmony has its wonders, one of them being Rainshadow Island.

Just beneath its surface, a maze of catacombs hides a dangerous secret…

Halloween—with its tricks and treats—is a dust bunny’s dream come true. Just ask Lyle, Sedona Snow’s faithful sidekick. But for Sedona, it’s a nightmare. Though her new job managing a small hotel and tavern on Rainshadow is helping her move on from her tragic past, a bizarre disaster down in the catacombs has brought a pack of rowdy ghost hunters to her inn.

And now, Sedona’s ex has arrived on the island, claiming he wants to get back together, just as a newcomer appears to have a strong interest in her. Cyrus Jones is the new Guild boss in town. He has his own agenda when it comes to Sedona, but even the best-laid plans are no match for the passion that springs up on Rainshadow…

Drake Sebastian and his family are the caretakers of Rainshadow Island and the vastly unexplored underworld on the island. He has been on the search for Alice North. Drake is convinced that Alice can help him with the problems that they've been having on Rainshadow. He knows that if he doesn't find her soon they may lose the island.

Alice has been on the run with her dust bunny Houdini for the past year since her ex-mother-in-law decided that she must be responsible for Alice's MC husband's death. Alice has been found innocent of any wrong doing in her husband's death. As a matter of fact it was him that tried to kill her and he was found killed when she was long gone.

Once Drake's found Alice he decides the best way to protect her is to offer her a Marriage of Convenience (MC). After a quick wedding the two head off to Rainshadow to fight everything for giant insects and old lovers.

This is the second book in the Rainshadow series where a lot of new questions are answered. I love some of the imagination that went into putting this book out and the development of the issues on the island that haven't been seen in any of the other books about Harmony.

In the world of Harmony, Rainshadow Island is home to a mysterious preserve, secrets that have been kept for centuries, and a treasure worth killing for…

As a light-talent, Alice North has the rare ability to make things disappear, including herself—a gift that comes in handy during her magic act with her dust bunny Houdini.

Business mogul Drake Sebastian is day-blind, since his sight was nearly destroyed in a lab accident. But he’s the one man who can see Alice when she disappears—and he needs her.

On Rainshadow Island, two dangerous Old World crystals are missing, igniting a paranormal storm. Drake thinks Alice is the key to finding them, and proposes they head there, but only after a Marriage of Convenience.

Alice’s honeymoon on Rainshadow is guaranteed to be memorable, as the island—and the passion between her and Drake—is about to explode…

Santana Rogers grew up in the embrace of a motorcycle club, but her life completely changes after her father is thrown in jail for killing a cop and the club abandons her and her mother. It wouldn't have been so bad if her lifelong savior and crush Stake Willis would have stayed in touch, but even Stake abandoned her.

When Santana is attacked by the county sheriff, Stake reappears in her life and suddenly there appears to be nothing her won't do to make Santana feel safe. As the two work to rebuild their relationship and fall in love, will circumstances tear them apart for ever.

This is one of the better MC romances I've read so far. The character development is done very well, although I do have to say I was a little disappointed with the reason why the Club abandoned Santana in the first place. It seemed out of character for her alcoholic mother to not want the support of the Club especially after losing her husband while doing Club business.

This is definitely a good first start for this series.

As the only child of an abusive biker and an alcoholic mother, Santana Rogers had one hero she could turn to in her life. Stake Wills, a member of the Kings of Bedlam Motorcycle Club, was her father’s best friend, her savior and her lifelong crush. When her father is sent to prison, the club and her only friends turn their backs on her, leaving her to deal with the fall-out of her father’s crime on her own.

Santana is proud of the way she’s persevered through the hard and lonely years on her own. When Stake reappears into her life after the county sheriff attacks her, she isn’t sure she’s willing to let him back into her life and her heart. And if she does, she’s not sure she’ll survive having her heart broken again when he inevitably leaves.

It just about killed Stake to walk out of Santana’s life, but after his best friend’s death, he’s forced to choose between the motorcycle club and keeping an eye on Santana. The club is the only family he’s ever known, and a blackmail threat by Santana’s mother threatens to destroy it all. He realizes that he made a mistake, but that won’t stop him from trying to prove to Santana that he’s still the man she needs him to be.

Tally's family has taken more to her ex-husband then to her, so when she has to attend her cousin's wedding she knows she needs to have a date or not go at all. Taking her neighbor, Gerri, up on her offer to set Tally up with a date for the event, Tally puts her complete trust into Gerri.

Gerri's nephew and his friend, Theron and Connor are looking for a mate. They want someone who can complete their alpha triad.

Gerri knows the three would make a good match, but with Tally's relationship hang-ups and the Theron and Connor's fears of Tally being accepted by the pack are they ready to become mates together.

The is a hot and sexy book with two strong alpha males and one really sassy BBW. Tally has had her bad relationships and problems, but I admire how she has held her ground and kept her head up despite her family. I would have loved for the book to be slightly longer with more time with the pack, but the story was saved by the well written erotic bedroom scenes.

Talia Barca needs a date. Badly. She uses the services of the Paranormal Dating Agency hoping for a decent guy to take to a family wedding. A wedding her ex-husband has wormed his way into as a guest.

Connor and Theron want Tally to complete their Alpha triad. She's sexy, curvy and funny. But she's human. And they're not sure she'll go for a relationship with two men at the same time.

As if deciding to give two men a shot wasn’t difficult enough, Tally will also need to deal with a threat from the pack. She'll either prove she's strong enough to be an Alpha mate or find herself at the mercy of a vicious opponent.

Reader Warning: This book contains lots of scorching sex (including a threesome so hot it will make your ereader sizzle), adult language (hanky panky with no dirty talk is no fun), and violence. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you like dirty, raunchy sex with some sarcasm and two hot men on one curvy girl, then this is right up your alley. Enjoy!

Scott used to be the home town hero. He was going to be have a great football career and become someone. When his dreams fail and he comes back sometime later rumors spread and some not too flattering.

Jennica has had her own problem with rumors in her home town. So much so that she decided to leave town and open her flower shop somewhere else and start all over again.

When the two meet it is instant attraction, but Jennica can't quite get beyond her past experiences and Scott will have to be really persistent if he wants her in the end.

As far as this series goes I've really liked the last two books, however this one seemed rush and spends too much time with the main characters by themselves and with others but not with each other. We don't get a real chance to see if Jennica and Scott really are compatible with each other. So it gets an extra heart then I would have given it because it fits in with the series, but being read alone I think I would only be more disappointed. I've already started the next book in the series, so I'm still giving the series a chance.

The attraction between Jennica and Scott is undeniable, but will her past show up to ruin it all?

After years of being gone, Scott Sims has returned to his hometown. Life is good. He likes his new job, has reconnected with his sister, and even met a “friend with benefits” at the local bar. He does his best to ignore the flurry of rumors—none of them true—about where he’s been and who he’s become.

Jennica Moss’s last relationship ended badly, leaving her guarded and untrusting. She’s new in town, but the local gossips have kept her informed about almost everything. The latest hot topic—Scott Sims, the area’s most promising star, the guy who threw his football career away and disappeared for years.

When Scott and Jennica meet, emotions run high. Scott can’t resist the urge to get to know her. But Jennica’s past threatens to come between them, and Scott can’t seem to shake his present. When he broke things off with his last fling, she didn’t take it well, and she keeps showing up at the most inopportune moments, making his time with Jennica strained.

Now one, or both, of their lives may be at risk, and Jennica must face the consequences of giving in to her heart and falling in love with Scott.
