Harm's Hunger

The expanded version of this book brings a very sexy romance to readers. If you like cowboys with a sexy as sin smile and a woman who knows what she wants, as well as a series of sexy encounters, you'll like this story.

Description:

In order to meet her Great Aunt Sally's will's stipulation to 'handle the sale personally,' Jena Hudson visits Texas to finalize the sale of her aunt's ranch to her neighbor, Harmon Steele. What Jena didn't expect was to fall for the rugged, sexy cowboy.

Harm might find Jena to be the most sensual creature he's ever met, but he won't let her sultry body be more than a satisfying distraction. He learned a long time ago, happy-ever-afters are best left for childhood fantasies.

So, what's a girl to do when she finds out the man of her fantasies doesn't believe in a happy ending? Given the right set of circumstances, she'll create one for him.

Here's a peak of the other stories in this series.

Ty Temptation
Description:
Ty Hudson never expected a trip to Texas for his sister's wedding would turn into a seductive lesson of patience. When a sexy cowgirl ties him up then offers a suggestive proposal, Ty's more than willing to accommodate her, but only on his terms.

Evan Masters has always lived her life one step ahead of most people. So she's surprised when she's faced with an intelligent, seductive, tightly controlled man who agrees to show her the ropes in the one area of her life she's yet to tread.

Ty might insist on doing things his way-slow and easy-but the more he prolongs their sensual dance, the more Evan wants to show him just how satisfying letting go and giving in to their desires can be.

As the sexual heat and anticipation between them builds to a boiling point, Ty discovers that his own personal "Eve" is more temptation than he can resist.

Colt's Choice
Description:
Elise has never really felt settled, be it in relationships or her career. Regardless of her nomadic ways, one constant has always held true--her love for horses and being outdoors. When she inherits half-ownership to a rodeo ranch, she realizes her path in life has finally been laid. Little does she expect to find her very own cowboy at the end of it. Colt Tanner might be rough-around-the-edges, but he exudes the kind of steely confidence that intrigues her. Not to mention, he looks great in a pair of chaps. Even though Colt is her partner by circumstance, Elise is determined to prove to him she's serious about helping run the ranch. If only all these thoughts about just how good they could be together would stop getting in the way.

Colt has waited half his life to fully own the Lonestar ranch. Then Elise Hamilton shows up out of the blue, claiming half-ownership. With sultry green eyes, long dark hair and kissable lips, the new part-owner of his rodeo ranch might be one of the smartest, sexiest women he'd ever laid eyes on, but Colt knows she's one-hundred percent wrong for him. Even if he could ignore the fact she's from the city, he won't allow himself to forget she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. He's learned from his father's mistakes and has no intention of repeating history. Problem is, like all temptations, the more he tells himself Elise is 'hands off', the more he wants to put his hands on.

Josh's Justice
Description:
Sabrina Gentry isn't one to take life lightly. The last thing she would ever do is cut loose, but when her boyfriend breaks up with her, claiming she's too controlling, she decides to throw out everything she thought she knew about relationships. While on vacation visiting her friend Elise in Texas, she's gives herself one main rule: The first man who trips your trigger, go for it! No questions, no reservations. The last thing she expected was for the one guy who tripped her trigger to make a pass at her thinking she was someone else. With her new rule in mind, Sabrina sets out to convince Josh Kelly she's the woman he wants.

Josh Kelly couldn't believe how much more attracted he was to his married neighbor Elise when he saw her perfectly shaped jean-clad rear from behind. When he discovers the woman he whispered a suggestive comment to wasn't Elise, but her best friend Sabrina, he's determined to get to know the woman who could make him lose all common sense.

When a near fatal accident brings Josh and Sabrina together, neither can deny the fierce attraction between them. But the path to love is never a smooth one, and as Sabrina and Josh uncover layers about each other that could tear their passionate relationship apart, danger still lurks, waiting to strike.

Note: Josh's Justice was originally published under the title Hearts Afire as a novella in the Hearts are Wild anthology. Josh's Justice has been extensively revised and expanded to novel length.

ISBN: N/A
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Publisher: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.

The beginning of a new series starts with novella, Stone Cold Heart, great title that give the reader that there is a lot of live up to. The book introduces Jack Stone, the oldest brother who starts a business to bring his siblings together. The siblings include his younger step sister Jess. Jess never felt completely like one of the family. After deciding she needed to leave her job with the FBI as an assassin, she goes to work for her older brother humanitarian aid company.

On her first mission she hooks up with an old lover she never expected to see again as well as realizes that this job may not be as much of a change from her old job as she thought.

Was hoping for a little more action and suspense, but I'd be willing to check out the next books in the series to see what the author has in store for the rest of the Stone family.

Description:
Jess Stone, former FBI sniper, always felt like the kid who looks in the candy store window but could never afford to go in. But on a humanitarian mission to aid an earthquake ravaged country, finally she finds a place where she fits, in Colin Davies' arms, and working for Global Humanitarian Relief, her big brother's company. But can the former SAS thaw Jess's stone cold heart?

When his older brother asks him to take care of business, Con finally will have redemption he craves. Except when Ava Sanchez, his brother's assistant, is threatened, he must choose between saving the girl or protecting his family. Will his choice bring him love or break his heart?

Romance Book Review: Krystal Shannan's Waking Sarah

Author: Krystal Shannan
Series Connection: Vegas Mates
ISBN: N/A
Genre: Paranormal / Witches / Vampires / Werewolves / Shifter / Romance
Publisher: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.

Purchase Link: Amazon

In book three of the Vegas Mates series, Krystal Shannan continues building her conflicted world of one werewolf pack and their efforts to break free from a dominating council that wants to keep control. The pack is struggling to pull together after the death of several members of their pack. Renata is still on the lose, running from the council and working on her plan to get back in the council's good graces.

In the meantime, the pack is working to find the latents from Stephan's decedents and wake up their wolves. Chris Michaels has been tasked with the job to work with the latents. The first is Sarah. Sarah is Bonnie, the restaurant owner, Bonnie's, daughter. She doesn't know her family background and isn't sure exactly what to believe. She suffers from terrible nightmares of her wolf working to get free, but she doesn't realize that's what it is until she learns about her heritage.

Chris suspects that Sarah is his mate, but he's been wrong before and he worries that he might be wrong again. To protect himself and Sarah he knows he must stay away until her wolf wakes.

This is a really good series, if you are interested in paranormal shifter romance. Lost of action, wonderfully done love making scenes and good character building. I'm hoping there are more stories coming in the future. This series should be read in order to keep up with what is happening.

Description:

Council threats and Renata’s deadly attack leave the Vegas pack scrambling to regroup…

Heartbroken over the death of her fiancé and tortured by a voice in her mind that’s haunted her since childhood, Sarah McLain learns her true ancestry after attending her best friend Margaret’s wedding. Can the pack save Sarah from the darkness that threatens to overwhelm her? Or will the wolf inside drive her over the edge before they can show her being a supernatural being is a good thing?

Chris Michaels is in charge of training the new latent werewolves at the O’Hearn mountain inn, now known as Woodhaven. His focus is tested when he finds out the beautiful but sad redhead, Sarah McLain, is his trainee. The connection he feels to her is strong but not magickal, and his wolf claims it foolish to listen to his human instincts. Can Chris heal her broken heart in time, or will he lose the woman he knows is perfect for him.

Romance Book Review: Krystal Shannan's Saving Margaret

Author: Krystal Shannan
Series Connection: Vegas Mates
ISBN: N/A
Genre: Paranormal, Shifter, Werewolf, Bear
Publisher: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.

Purchase Link: Amazon

Life as Margaret Taylor knows it is about to change. Everything in Margaret's life has been about her career and her family. She's a little bit envious of her friend Sam who has found her mate and lonely. At Sam's wedding Margaret meets a bear who turns out to be her mate. Being a pack wolf, Margaret never thought her mate would turn out being a bear. Bears don't live in packs and she rarely sees them living in Las Vegas. Can she really mate with someone so different.

Scott can't believe his luck to have finally met his match after so many years of looking and to him Margaret is perfect even if she is a wolf and not a bear.

Finding their soul mate isn't the only change Margaret and Scott on in for. A war is about to start between the some of the shifters and the council. Margaret finds herself in danger and what better protection than a giant bear to take care of her.

Meanwhile there is more to the story of Sam's royal family revealed.

This is turning into an interesting series. Not much of the Las Vegas backdrop is used in the story, but it is an interesting location for a shifter series. It would have been nice to see a little more color from the local. Otherwise this couple works well. The storyline is interesting and I'm very interested in purchasing the next book in the series to see where it goes.

Description:
Successful, but lonely, Margaret Taylor finds her mate in the body of a man she least expects it in. A bear! Her human half tries to reason her way out of the match, but her wolf is through with her excuses. Crossing the species line isn’t unheard of, but it’s not often done.

Try as she might to avoid him, fate makes sure the big grizzly bear is nearby at all times. But, will his presence be enough to protect her from the evil stalking her?

The power of the magick between them can’t be avoided. But, Scott O’Hearn thinks the beautiful Taylor wolf is doing a fine job of just that —avoiding him. He can’t help he’s a bear shifter and he’s determined to convince her it doesn’t matter. She is his mate and he’s waited over a century to find her.

Will he convince Margaret she’s his true match before it’s too late?

Romance Book Review: Krystal Shannan's Chasing Sam

Author: Krystal Shannan
Series Connection: Vegas Mates Series
ISBN: n/a
Genre: Paranormal, Shifter, Werewolves
Publisher: Amazon Digital

Purchase Link: Amazon

In the first book of the Vegas Mates Series, Sam is a med student coming home from school in the 25th year. She had hoped that her parents would let go of the idea of the ridiculous tradition of hosting a hunt to find her mate, but unfortunately when she gets home she finds that isn't the case.

To make matters worse she has a chance meeting with a man she could actually see as a mate potential, but because he isn't of noble blood she knows she will never get the chance to mate with him.

Chase can't believe that he has finally found a potential mate. At 75 years old he thought this day would never come. He knows that Sam is from a noble family, but he has to give it a chance to try and connect with her. When he finds out that she has to go through the traditional hunt, he knows that he can do nothing but Chase Sam.

Very exciting start to a new series. My only real complaint is I feel like I'd would have liked to have a seen a slightly different ending. I'm sure that those who read the book would agree.

Description:
Samantha Demakis doesn’t want a mate right now. She wants to finish her degree and work as a doctor in third world countries. Her birth-rite and family obligations to her status as the first daughter of a noble family beg to differ. In fact, even her wolf seems to be against her. When a chance encounter reveals the man who might just be a perfect fit, will she run? Or will she fight?

Chase Michaels has been alone for seventy-five years. He’s fought in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and Afghanistan in the US Army. Somewhat resigned to never finding his true mate, he is shocked when his wolf reacts so strongly to a woman he runs into in the airport. Unprepared for the politics and snobbery of the noble families, Chase finds himself fighting in a different type of war —a war for the heart of a woman he knows should be his.

A lot of things are chasing Sam, but who or what will catch her in the end?
