Romance Book Review: Roommates

Author: Helen Gabriel
ISBN: 978-1-59632-677-4
Genre: Contemporary Romance M/M

YYYY

Short but sweet book about a police officer who takes in a temporary roommate for the summer. The story doesn't give enough time to get to know the characters other than the fact that they fall into a strong sensual relationship. Well written romantic story with a scorching sex scene for those into M/M erotic romance.

Description from author:
The same characteristics that make Morgan Bryant a good detective -- his intensity and focus -- have sunk his past relationships. He's not looking for a convenient fuck when he seeks a roommate, just someone to help with the bills for the summer. But he gets so much more in Jasper Lawrence. From the start, Jasper's big, sexy body calls to Morgan. Morgan worries that if he lets his desire to screw Jasper control him, he'll lose out in the long run.

Jasper, who has come to California to get his head on straight, is surprised when he falls for his gruff, blond roommate right from the start. The focus that made Morgan's past lovers uncomfortable turns Jasper on. Morgan's hard body makes Jasper long for some uninterrupted time with Morgan between the sheets.

About the Author from the back of the book:
A romantic at heart, I enjoy happily-ever-after endings. I believe love can conquer all, and, luckily for me, so do the characters in my head clamoring for their stories to be written. Questions are second nature to me, which is good because this lets me learn new things to make my stories come alive. When I’m not plotting new stories or arguing with my characters I’m reading.
