Kenna and Nicky have been best friends for a long time and both are interested in making the relationship into something more, but neither know how to go about making the change.

When Kenna's mother convinces her to come home for Christmas, Kenna knows she is going to have to face her sister and her cheating ex. Kenna's sister Bekka stopped Bekka's wedding to Steven several month earlier to tell Kenna she was pregnant with Steven's baby.

Heartbroken Kenna moves back to the city and with Nicky's help gets over the betrayal, but can she really face them. Coming up with an idea, Kenna asks Nicky to pose as her boyfriend and convince her family that she is okay and moving on with her life. Taking full advantage of the situation, Nicky show Kenna that he wants more than just friendship.

Told in the first person, this story has all the same out cliches that many romance's offer, but I like the writing style that Wendy Stone uses for this story. While it take place on the Christmas holiday there is still time to enjoy this story.

Description:
Kenna McEwen is sent into a panic when her mother calls to invite her home for the holidays. This past year hadn't been very good to her and the idea of meeting up with her sister, pregnant by the man that Kenna had planned to marry, makes her anxious.
