With White Tiger's success of finding a human mate, the King decides that to save his race the shifters must follow White Tiger's example and allow the Traveller to help others find a mate as well. In his efforts to get all in his kingdom to follow along he chooses the King's son is to be the first to lead by example.

Jorel knows that his race will die off if they do not find an answer to the reason why all of the new born's die, but he isn't so happy that he has to be the one to find the answer. He especially is not happy when he finds out that once the Traveller takes his Heartstone that there may be a chance that his black heart won't be able to find a mate.

Ally is a no-nonsense cop. She is making it her life's mission to find the woman who became White Tiger's mate, but has no idea that she is no longer on earth. She is looking at a local flea market when she runs into an old woman who convinces her that she will give Ally information on the missing woman if she purchases the heart necklace, which Ally does.

Once Jorel and Ally meet everything happens all at once and Ally is fighting for her life, and the cop in her will let her do no less than protect Jorel, as well.

The Heartstone continuation moves the story along well, but it is too short and there needs to be more time spent between Jorel and Ally outside the bedroom to show their compatibility, otherwise the story was well versed and had a great action scenes as Ally worked to stay alive long enough to fight those who were really trying to kill her.

Description:
Allyson Grey is a take no prisoners type of cop. After a strange encounter with a woman at a flea market, followed by an encounter with a tiger shifter, Ally will do whatever it takes to protect the innocent.
