Not my favorite in the Wulf Den series book five in the series tells the story of Billie and Finn's brother Eli. Eli is the last of the York children to find a woman. His sister Billie is determined to find someone for him. While he is sitting in Wulf's Den on evening he meets Saskia.

Saskia is a warrior who has trained for hundreds of years to be part of the protection team for the chosen one, Roxie. She and her brothers-in-arms come to the Wulf's Den to lend their support. There she sees Eli and knows for the first time she wants to make love to a human. But as far as she is concerned a human could never be her mate.

This is a short story that was just a little too rushed for me. It would have been nice to go into more detail on the background of the team of protectors.

Description:
Eli vowed he would never tie himself to one woman. But when he sees a lone werewolf female at Wulf's Den with six large male werewolves at her back, he finds himself instantly attracted to her.

Saskia and her brothers in arms have come to Wulf's Den in search of the foretold one, the one they have trained most of their long lives to protect. What she didn't expect was to have one of her visions while there. Or to see that she and the male mortal who looks at her with hunger in his eyes would eventually end up in bed together.

As Eli and Saskia try to sort through the feelings of an unexpected mating, a new enemy rises to threaten Roxie in her position as the foretold one. An enemy that could end their mating prematurely.
