At one time Nathan just let her go without fixing the problem between then, but he's changed and he isn't going to let her slip through his fingers this time.
Nathan sets out to seduce Lily back in his life, but Lily has a lot of problems going on in her life right now. Her mother is falling about after her father leaves her mother for a much younger woman. Her brother is out of control and failing out of high school. Lily can't let that happen. To top matters off, she realizes Nathan isn't going to give up on her. Now she has to decide if she can handle everything on her plate.
It was nice to read about what is happening in Petal. The Chase Brothers is one of my favorites in the contemporary market. Shortly after she released this book Lauren Dane released Alone Time as a short novella continuing with the new series. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
