Damian Karlsson his set his sights on Rachel Perkins. He knows that she is the woman he's supposed to settle down with. She's everything he believes a wife should be and he will fight to make her his, even if he has to fight her.

Rachel likes Damian but her past stops her from taking their friendship farther to a series relationship, much less marriage. As she gets to know him, she knows all is lost because the future that Damian wants for them, is not something that Rachel can give him.

This Christian novel includes several verses of scripture.

The story is pretty common themed, but generally a well written book with two strong lead characters and a supporting cast. The book is a good start for the first in a series.
