This original novella book was published way back in 2000. I just love pulling books off the shelf and checking them out again and again. This one was filled with humor, however some may find it not for them, as there are some forced love scenes. I however give the author points for balancing the humor with the sadness and pulling it altogether in a well done piece, especially for her first erotic romance.
Jeannie is stuck in an elevator when it gets stopped in a blackout. Unfortunately it is just before the full moon and she is stuck in the elevator with a man who tells her he is a werewolf. Although he apologizes over and over again he can't help was is going to happen next. He is overcome with excitement at just the smell of Jeannie and the two end up having sex.
Fast forward several weeks later and Michael, alpha to the Wyndham Werewolf Pack has been desperately searching for Jeannie to get her before his enemy finds out she is his mate. When he finds her, she thinks he's just as bad as a nutcase as she thought he was in the elevator. Michael is forced to kidnap her. Can Jeannie ever come to terms with what Michael is and what she is to him?
