In her debut book, Samantha Darling introduces the classic revenge plan storyline. Luca was dumped by his fiance, Daniella, for his brother years before. Now his brother is dead and he plans to get even with even with Daniella for breaking his heart. Of course it won't be as easy as he plans and he has to remind himself that she hurt him and he wants to hurt her as much as she hurt him.

Daniella hasn't had the easiest of times in the past five years since she let Luca go. His brother was not the man Luca thought he was. Now she is seven months pregnant and Luca doesn't want to let her out of his sight and she can't help but want him all over again. 

Samantha Darling has a nice voice throughout the story with strong characters, even if it is a tired storyline. It will be interesting to see where her next story takes her.
