In a abusive marriage and seeing no other way out, Ella decides she has no other choice but to take her own life to escape. She hopes she will find heaven and the daughter she lost to still birth the year before. 

Little does she know because of a rare gene she makes it to Haven and not heaven. While she learns to adapt to her new environment, she meets Blake and she begins to find the life she had always wanted. That is all shattered when she learns a secret her ex-husband had been keeping from her. The daughter she thought she lost and now is in need of Ella's help. 

Well written short novel featuring an interesting heroine who is finally coming into her own and gain the confidence she always lacked and a sexy hero wanting to be by her side.
